Campus and Young adult Missioner

Meet James, Samantha and daughters, Corinne and Grace. James is a young adult missioner for the Episcopal church in North Carolina. Working primarily with college students James landed his dream job that combines his love of coaching students, providing spiritual direction, preaching, writing, singing, leading worship, cooking meals with students, and helping create beloved community. James holds degrees from UNC Chapel Hill (BA) and Seminary of the Southwest (MDiv).

Latricia Giles, MDiv, '18

Campus minister Intern

Latricia Giles is from the Bronx, NY. She is perusing a Masters in Divinity at the Wake Forest University School of Divinity and is a proud graduate of Winston-Salem State University with a Bachelors Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies- Sociology Concentration. She is also a member of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority Inc. "I look forward to working in this ministry and to growing and developing my spiritual gifts while being a mentor to young adults as they also grow and develop." Latricia's focus will primarily be on bringing together students from UNCSA, WSSU, & Salem College and forming Christ-centered, beloved community amongst students. 

 

Katarina holmgren, Mdiv. ‘20

Campus ministry intern at Salem college & WFU

Meet Katarina Holmgren! Katarina was raised in the northeast and graduated from Bowdoin College, Maine. In addition to teaching yoga, being a wife, studying theology, and meeting with students at Salem and WFU, Katarina is also in the discernment process for the priesthood.

Campus Ministry Intern at WFU

After years of serving various parishes around the diocese of NC as a youth minister, Paul is continuing his theological education at Wake Div as he discerns God’s call.
